In my early years as a writer, I worked with an art director who had been drawing stick men from an early age to relax. Laughable. Turns out they were millions of stick men depicting the great battles throughout human history. Overwhelming in scale. One tiny stick man at a time, with a ball point pen.
To this day, the image of his exceptional work is seared in my memory. I wish I had one of his stick man masterpieces on my wall.
